****update on Rover cards (3/31/24) We have been having a hard time stopping and ending - and then sending the cards as of recently. Rover told me they are working on it, but for the time being, we would also love your personal cell as to keep in proper communication during our services together. The cards just aren’t as reliable as we need for them to be right now. ———————————— All services are designed with the customer and their pets in mind. I am an extremely flexible and caring business owner who is willing to do whatever I can to help you and your pets live the best lives possible. No situation is too much for me. No request is too big. Call or message me anytime with questions. RATES **All rates and services are negotiable. I am more than happy to quote a custom rate based on 20 or 45 minute visits as opposed to 30 or 60, which is what Rover defaults to. PROVIDERS ***There are 4 main providers working on this account, led by me, Allie. I am the lead sitter, and there are women that work with me directly and are insured and bonded by my LLC that also complete bookings. You will know exactly who is in your home. All sitters completing Rover bookings have been background checked and authorized by Rover. ***Arrival times for bookings: As we all know, Houston has its fair share of traffic, bad weather, and stuck trains making getting from one place to another a little difficult at times. Then, there’s apartment complexes and having to wait for an extended period of time to receive a key, for example. With that being said, we kindly ask for flexibility (within reason of course) in terms of arrival times with the exception being puppies, pets who require medication, and elderly pets who might need more TLC. A diabetic cat, for example, needs their medication every 12 hours. For this booking we would arrive every 12 hours more or less on the dot. Additionally, a puppy needs to be checked on every few hours depending on their age without exception. This example would be another booking where we would arrive more or less right on time. All pets are important as are all pet owners. We want to make everyone happy with regards to when we arrive. Due to the nuances of running a business on the ground in Houston, we also want to be up front and realistic about how we complete bookings. And as always, we strive to provide a professional experience regardless of any obstacles along the way. HOW BOOKINGS ARE COMPLETED I, Allie, tend to complete all new client bookings and bookings that require medication or have animals present with special needs of some sort. I also plan, schedule, and oversee all Rover bookings in general. You are always dealing directly with me when communicating via the platform. For daily dog walks we use a two-person approach to offer the most consistent and reliable service possible. Therefore, two trained and professional providers will be available for your walks without fail. Both providers will be introduced to you and your dog. We guarantee you will be pleased with our performance. For drop ins and vacation services I follow the same two-person approach as with the walks. You will be introduced to anyone inside of your home and that will be caring for your pets. Again, having two professional animal lovers familiar with your pet or pets is only beneficial to you and to your peace of mind. My only goal is to provide the absolute best service imaginable. TRAINING FOR PROVIDERS All providers working for me are only given bookings that match up with their level of experience. Only the most experienced providers complete certain types of bookings. This is a professional service that makes reliability, safety, and consistency our top priority. MONEY-BACK GUARANTEE: Full refund for all cancellations, when requested by the customer, regardless of the notification time beforehand or reason for the cancellation. Why? Because I simply don’t believe in cancellation fees. If the customer wants us to keep the money, that’s totally fine. Always appreciated but never expected. I would rather focus on having a consistent and productive long term relationship with customers as opposed to charging them for a service not performed by me or one of my providers. Additionally, if for any reason at all you are unhappy with the services provided, I will issue you a refund, no questions asked. Just let me know. All Rover reviews reflect the business in the last year and a half since it started. ———————————————————- GENERAL INFORMATION To ensure your pet is safe and well taken care of, you should aim to use a full-time, professional pet sitter that is trained, dedicated, bonded and insured. My business and I are fully prepared for any situation that might arise. All services are offered inside or at your home because this is the safest place for a pet to be while you are gone. Furthermore, all services are delivered in a timely fashion and will be to your utmost satisfaction. I started my business in September 2021 after my dog, Annie, and I moved to Houston and were attacked by an unleashed dog. After the attack, I was in the hospital and needed help with Annie. The problem was, I couldn’t do a meet and greet in person. At the end of the day, it was very difficult to find anyone who would work with me at such a desperate time in my life. This was a problem I wanted to solve not only for myself but for others as well. After I recovered, I quit my 9 year career in the oil industry to focus on pets and providing services to customers not only when they want them, but when they really, truly need them. - Safety is my number one priority. - Fully insured and bonded. - Completely customizable services for all animals…no request is too big or small. - I consider it an honor and a privilege to be in your home, and I treat the opportunity as such. The services I offer are: 1. Alternative pet boarding aka drop in visits for cats and dogs for an extended period of time: -Why board your animal in a kennel or in someone else’s home when you can just have me or someone from my team come by 1, 2, 3 or 4 times a day to give them the personalized care they deserve? Having your animal stay in your home while you are away is the safest and most cost effective option. Please ask me how we can customize your animal’s in-home care while you are out of town. 2. Drop in visits for dogs (non-vacation customers) -Drop ins can also be daily or reoccurring bookings for dogs when the visit is not solely focused on walking the animal. For example, if you have a puppy and want us to come and stop by for a half hour, 3 times a week to play with and take out the puppy, then this would be a drop in since puppies don’t typically go on full blown 30 minute walks. 3. Dog walks - Walks can also be one time or daily/reoccurring bookings. Standard dog walks are for 30 minutes, and we start the timer as soon as we unlock your door. We can walk or jog with your pup(s). Whatever works for you, works for us. Hour long dog walks are available in the early morning and evening hours. Afternoon hours available if the schedule permits. Also, please know that most services are negotiable. I know some folks have 7 cats, for example. And services priced per cat for 7 cats would be quite expensive if we look at the sticker price. For an example like the one I just mentioned, I wouldn’t charge the customer for each cat. Overall, I am more than happy to negotiate a price that makes sense for all parties. About me: I rescued my own dog, Annie, from the mountains of Mexico in 2020. When I found her she was malnourished, full of worms and parasites, and didn’t know how to interact with humans very well. Now, she is the happiest and healthiest version of herself. My goal is to give her and all of the dogs and cats that cross my path the best lives possible. I go to great lengths to plan and optimize my schedule so that I can give the highest level of service possible to you and your pets. I love what I do, and I take it very seriously. ———————————————————— I prefer to match the energy and needs of each pet I encounter. If they are super energetic and need to run, then we can go on a run. If they are calm and walk slow, then we can walk as slow as they need. Some older/small dogs like to be carried around outside...if that’s the case, that’s fine too :) I aim to keep the animals in my care as comfortable as they would feel with you. Whether your pet is young or old, big or small, shy-or maybe just plain hyper, I will ensure they are kept happy and safe at all times. Your pet will never feel a lack of love in my care. Going forward I want to focus on the next chapter of my life by building a pet services business that serves the Houston area. Previously I worked in the oil industry for 9 years and lived in various locations both inside and outside the USA. I have an MBA, as well. **I speak English and Spanish. ***I also love and will care for cats without hesitation. There are no limitations on my availability. Just let me know whatever you need, and we will get it done. As a rule, I always keep the dog I am walking away from other dogs on the street or in general. If your dog is small, I will most likely carry them when we are crossing the street. ***When booking a service with me, please know that we will pay extremely close attention to the health of your pet by noting anything that seems off (like a loose bowel movement, for example, or vomiting, low energy etc). We are extremely intuitive with regards to the wellbeing of animals and will not hesitate to take them to the vet if that is what needs to happen. I am dedicated to pets 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Extremely flexible in offering customizable services to fit your needs and budget. I care for pets outside of my home. While doing so I ensure all safety precautions are taken. I triple check to make sure doors are shut and locked. I triple check harnesses to make sure they are secure as well. Overall, I go to great lengths to ensure nothing happens to your pet while in my care that isn’t positive! My head is always on a swivel. I am a full-time service provider with trained sitters available 24/7 to provide safe, loving, and professional care for your pets when you need it most. We care for pets in your home-only. Safety and quality guidelines are as follows: 1. Ensure no pets escape the home by opening doors and gates slightly and slowly as opposed to all at once. 2. Keep pets in our care away from other animals during walks and drop in visits. 3. Arrive in a timely fashion and stay for the entire visit. 4. Communicate often and effectively with the customer. 5. Follow all instructions provided. 6. Not leaving the home until a detailed checklist is done, which gives you peace of mind knowing nothing was missed. 7.
