I am a UC Davis graduate that majored in Animal Science with an Animal Behavior emphasis, and long time pet owner! My last dog, Sage, a yellow lab, recently passed away, but was my very own pup since age 12. I started watching dogs at 12 years old when I would care for my neighbors 6 full-grown labradors (yes, 6!) while they were away for days at a time, and have been doing smaller jobs ever since. I have also volunteered at the Sacramento Animal Shelter for the Pitbull Social non profit. I am comfortable working with dogs big and small, of all different temperaments, and can also administer medications, trim most nails, and perform basic grooming tasks (baths, brushing, etc). I have dabbled with dog training in my work with the Pitbull Social group training dogs to sit, walk well on leashes, make eye contact, and minimize adverse behaviors such as jumping. I would be happy to try my hand at helping your pup become a bit better mannered if you so wished. I love taking the dogs outdoors (if you’re comfortable with that) and am excited to care for your pup in any way you see fit!
