Flexible, intentional animal lover!
Pet care experience
Hi! I'm Allie, a 28-year old currently residing in the Leschi neighborhood of Seattle. I absolutely love dogs and see them as a vital contribution to our daily happiness and well-being as humans. Alas, my current apartment setting won’t allow them. So, I'm becoming a Rover sitter! If you work long hours or are headed out of town, I'd love to care for your pup while you’re away. I have a car and a flexible daily schedule - I'm never away for long periods of time throughout the day. I grew up with dogs and have been house/animal-sitting for 10+ years. I'm comfortable with all sizes, breeds and temperaments. Above all, I am looking to spend time with dogs and love on your pet! Please message me for more information.
Reviews
Allie is great - our pup always seems happy and she checks in every day to send photos and let us know how he’s doing. Plus she’s very responsive which is great when we’re away.
Allie is great! She was available on short notice and always takes great care of our girl!
Allie is a huge dog-lover! I'm a Rover sitter too and whenever I can't watch a dog- I'm happy to refer them to Allie. I highly recommend her as a sitter.
Allie is excellent! Always on time and takes our puppy on walks and plays with him. Could not ask for a better friend to our Bowie!

Information Allie C. would like to know about your pet
I'd love to know how I can be a star sitter for you and your furry friend. When inquiring about bookings, feel free to include any information you think I should know to ensure your pup is happy, content, and safe. Some questions to consider: Is your dog shy or timid around new people? How does your dog behave towards other dogs/animals? Are they ok in public or off-leash environments? Do they have any emotional triggers? Are they spooked by anything? What is their energy level like? Are they food motivated? Do they have any fun quirks? What are some of their favorite toys/activities? When or where is your dog the happiest?
A typical day
I cannot wait to get to know your pup! As a long-time dog owner, I am incredibly confident in my ability to read moods and needs through a dogs behavior and attitude. So you can rest assured that your dog will be well attended to. While I'm more than happy to be a temporary caretaker, I know that your dog is your best friend and I will respect every aspect of the routine and regimen that you, as an owner, have set in place for them. I will do my absolute best to keep that routine in place while you are away. I'm a big fan of dog-friendly restaurants, bars, parks and public places. So if your dog is social (yet relatively calm!) and likes activity or stimulating environments, I'd love to get them out of the house and have a buddy to explore the town with! However, if your dog is timid, anxious or easily aggravated, we'll find ourselves keeping busy with activities in the comfort of your home. I'll be sure to give your dog the right amount of exercise they need. Whether that means going on a walk around your neighborhood, throwing a ball across your yard, or taking them to your local dog park and letting them run out that energy. I've trained two of my own dogs from puppies and have puppy-sat many more. If you have a younger puppy that is in the process of being trained or house-broken, I'm very comfortable in continuing that practice while you're away. While still providing them with the space that they need, I can't get enough of puppy snuggles. so there is no doubt your dog will get a lot of love!
