Grew up loving and raising puppies, kittens, and bunnies. Plus, of course, pet-sitting neighborhood animals. I have had giant dogs -- 3 great danes -- and now one of the most excitable, sensitive hunting dog I've meet. Even those hard-to-control puppies, I love my daily walks with them, as well as cuddling and socializing.

The house has side courtyard. Plus, there are great parks a short walk from my place. I believe crating animals in the house when humans are not actively engaged with them. My 4-year-old beagle-hound mix loves her crate and prefers taking naps in there when everything is boring.

A typical day
I love checking out the sights while dog walking, finding new safe areas for us both to explore. Also, reinforcing basic commands and tricks is always entertaining. And just talking and cuddling with them -- being social some how.

I teach middle school English, but it's online with a flexible schedule. I love getting out and walking around with good animal company -- I almost need it -- so this is a fun supplement for me.
