Pet care experience
Hey there! I'm originally from a farm town in Missouri, but I moved out here for college. Growing up I had cattle, pigs, sheep, chickens and countless litters upon litters of cute pups and kitties to play with on our 600 acre farm. I don't have official training on how to take care of pets, but I have loads of firsthand experience with my own pets and a small beginning of referrals from satisfied humans and pets through Rover. I offer a willingness to learn new skills and a love for all animals. My boyfriend and I live together in a Central District shared house with a partially fenced yard and two other roommates. We adopted Evie, our 3-year-old, 50# German Shepard/Golden Retriever/Chow Mix in 2017. She's really just a big baby and 90% nervous + 10% curious about the world. She means well and would do well with some temporary company in the house to help build up some confidence!

Allie spent another weekend at our house taking excellent care of our two pups! She gave us multiple photo updates each day that we were gone and we came home to a clean house and two very happy dogs!
Allie was responsive and personable. She is a smart woman and a careful listener. She is excellent at predicting situations and asking questions about or planning for them. She went above and beyond both in cleaning after pet/housesitting and in being available to stay longer when our flight was delayed. And, of course, most important of all, our pets really enjoy her.

I work flexible jobs between Rainier Beach and Cap Hill. I share a car with my boyfriend, so I would prefer not to drive and instead keep my clients near my house in Central District or job in Rainier Beach. If you’re on a bus route or a light rail stop, that’s even better! Other than that, I basically just want to know all the ways to win over your pets' love and affection haha
A typical day
I like to sit for one dog at a time just to give 100% of my attention to your fur baby! Your dog or cat can expect endless tummy rubs, treats for good behavior and nice, long walks outside!!! My boyfriend Jay will usually help out or bring Evie along for walks or dog park visits if it's been OK'd by you.
