Hello! My name is Allie and I am 29 years old. I currently live in an apartment building in the North Loop (downtown Minneapolis) area. I am currently working full time from home M-F. I have had pets in the home since I was a young child and currently am the primary care giver of my dog Benjamin. When we first adopted Benjamin he required some extra medical attention so I feel very comfortable with giving oral medications. My apartment complex has a large grass lot directly next door & a large fenced dog park where many dogs play. The North Loop area has many fun walking trails that I enjoy walking my pup on. Benjamin is a cattle dog mix so I am used to providing both enrichment and exercise through the week. Benjamin is a big time cuddler and spends most of his day napping on the couch. He loves toys and will play tug of war with our neighbor dog.

Allie seriously helped us out! She even added an extra dog at the last minute for us. She sent update photos and walked both dogs separately so they wouldn’t be too nervous to go potty in front of each other!!!! Allie gave so much attention to our babies - we are super appreciative she was available because they clearly love her!!
Allie was great! Prompt and very responsive. She kept our puppy happy and distracted while we were away.
Allie was fantastic with my 2 year old bernedoodle. We met in a dog park before the stay and her dog, Benjamin, is a delight and seems to get along well with all dogs. At the start of the stay my dog was nervous about going with a new person, but Allie clearly is great with dogs and understands their needs. She worked hard to help my pup feel comfortable and loved with a calming walk and some snuggles. She provided lots of pictures and updates during the stay. She spoiled my dog over the weekend with lots of long walks and attention. If she is available, I will be booking with her again.
Allie was so great! She was quick to respond in our communication leading up to Banksy’s walk, during and after! She was very prompt and we loved knowing all the details in her thoughtful report notes. We’d be so happy to have Allie walk Banksy again in the future!

I have taken a few dog socialization classes at Canine Coach and have learned to observe a dog's behavior and emotions. There are many dogs in the building so I try to socialize my pup in the healthiest way possible while also maintaining a safe environment for all involved.

I would like to know about any history of aggression (dog or human). Is your dog anxious if left alone or during bad weather. Does your dog eat all of their food in 1 sitting or are they more of a slow eater. Is your dog possessive of any of their toys? How does your dog do on leased walks vs. playing at a dog park? Does your dog have any dietary restrictions or allergies?
A typical day
North Loop is home to a bunch of fun trails and walks along the river. There is also a large dog park down the street (off leash) and a large grass lot directly next door to my building.

I am currently working full time from home M-F. My hours are very flexible and I am able to take breaks throughout my day to attend to a pets needs.
