Hi there! My name is Alli and I am a young professional based in Uptown, Minneapolis (right next to great lakeside walking paths and multiple dog-friendly parks!) My hobbies/favorite things to do include reading books about women's rights and social justice, and hanging out with my adorable and sassy cat, Luna. I am most definitely THAT person who, when seeing a dog while walking down the sidewalk, looks at the dog first and says "hi!" to the floof before looking at her/his owner (I'm working on this, but I have my doubts I'll stop smiling at dogs while out walking). I was born into a family that already had a two-year-old dog (a Border Collie/Springer Spaniel mix named Max) when I came along, and I grew up alongside Max as my best pal. We were blessed to be able to love our second of three canine family members, Tess, a Border Collie/Great Pyrenees mix, for 10 years. My family's current dog is named Dakota (Koda), and she is a three-year-old Norwegian Elkhound/German Shepherd mix. I grew up knowing that pets become an irreplaceable part of the family. There has only been a total of a few months in my life when I was not helping love on and take care of a pet. As a life-long dog owner, and a current cat owner, I know how hard it is to be away from your beloved best friend, even if just for a day or two. I am a firm believer in sending plenty of photo-updates of your pet's walk or pet-sitting experience. I am a lover of ALL breeds/shapes/sizes. I look forward to loving on, playing with, and caring for your best pet friend, and I am so grateful for your trust! Right now, my current apartment does not allow dogs, so I am eager and willing to come help walk your dog, take care of him/her for extended periods of time during house sittings, or 30-45 minute check-ins throughout the day at your home—rain, shine (or snow).
