Pet care experience
I am a dog and cat whisperer! Well, that's my own assessment anyway. I love dogs so much, and have forged strong bonds with many over the years. Currently, I have three and I love nothing more than to take them out for adventures. I also had a a cat for over 20 years, but unfortunately, she passed this last December (I'm also available for cat feeding and petting). I get real bored with walking dogs in the same spot twice, so rest assured, your pup will never go to the same spot everyday. Crissy Field, Fort Funston, Glenn Canyon, Mountain Lake Park, Lafayette Park, Alamo Square, Alta and Buena Vista, Sutro Baths, and Stow Lake are all on my routes. I am currently freelancing, so I have plenty of time to watch your doggos. I do own a gallery and go there on Fridays and Saturdays, so I am generally unavailable those days. I am also availible for more extensive walks, so please inquire about that. I cart my dogs around in my Honda Element. They are not crated; however, I can crate yours if you prefer. All my dogs are on a raw diet, so if your friend has a special dietary need, I'm a pro! Their meals can get fairly elaborate LOL. Hope to meet you and your dog (or cat) soon!

I'm so grateful to Allen for walking my two dogs, Toby and Max, while I was recovering from an elbow injury. They warmed up to him quickly, and they got very excited whenever he showed up for their walks. Max and Toby are used to walking only with me, and I was impressed that it went so smoothly. Allen speaks their language. They get him. Idk how this guy does it, but my 3 dogs seem to love him more than me. I’d be bummed by this; but, is there a better feeling than knowing your dogs are happy? Allen makes dogs happy. Five stars for Allen.
Allen and I were roommates for many years, and I have firsthand knowledge of his kindness, compassion, and responsibility when it comes to pet ownership. He had one beautiful dog at the time, who enjoyed (probably still enjoys) daily off-leash play time at nearby Alamo Square Park. Allen would also routinely take care of friends' dogs, and do a great job. I have two dogs of my own now, and wouldn't hesitate to ask Allen to look after them. He is a careful, loving pet owner and I highly recommend him.

Listing as much information as you can about your pet is always beneficial. Does your dog pull? Play with their leash? Love to play fetch? Chase squirrels? Is afraid of little dogs? Afraid of big dogs? Jumps on kids (my almost did that once and it was mortifying). No judgments.

Availability
I was formerly employed as a supply chain manager for 20 years before the pandemic hit. I have been doing some freelance assistant work, however, my goal is to do dog walking and sitting full time. It is much more rewarding for me. Since I care for three dogs of my own, pet care begins and ends soon as I wake up and right before I fall asleep.
