Pet care experience
Over the last decade I have taken care of many different kinds of animals for friends and family who needed the extra help! I have walked, fed, and bathed dogs many times. These have either been friend’s dogs or dogs that I was currently live with at the time through a roommate. I took in my friend’s baby bearded dragon for a year when he could not take care of him. I have spent less time taking care of cats, but have enjoyed building a relationship with many of my friends’ cats and have lived with a few! All in all, I don’t choose to take care of animals because of payment, but because I love animals and having a hand in giving them happier lives.

I've been Allen's friend for just just over 10 years now and ever since I've known him he has been an avid dog lover and a pet lover in general. I, sadly, don't have any dogs but he has met all of my cats and has always been great with them and loved playing with them. I have asked him to take care of my cats in the past whenever I was ever away from home, and I would gladly do it again! I give Allen a solid 10/10!
Allen is the biggest dog lover I know. He loves all kinds of animals and has experience dog sitting and caring for lots of friends’ pets. He will take great care of your pup and takes great photos too 😉

A typical day
I’m big on taking dogs for long walks through the park (my favorite is Fort Tryon) and giving them a chance to run around through some grass. I’m also very interactive and love playing with the dogs in order to give us both a much needed outlet for our energy!

Availability
I currently work for a consulting firm, but I find that remote work has given me ample time to take extended walks during my workday! My work schedule has a strong weekly routine to it, so I know exactly when I’m free and for how long. During the day I often find that I would love to be able to spend some of my free time taking care of animals! I also am generally free on the weekends as well!
