Pet care experience
Hello! I grew up with smaller dogs in NYC, but since moving to Charlotte have watched dogs big and small (there’s a special place in my heart for pitties!).
Reviews
King had a great time! Allegra sent so many text updates and photos which was awesome. She was also available on such short notice. Would definitely book again!
Allegra was great with Franny! She was very communicative and sent lots of pictures and videos through out the day. We’re excited to be back for a long stay over Christmas break!
Allegra K. cancelled a booking within a day of the start date.
I only gave one star, because I literally had to give one to place a review. Negative stars is more appropriate. I would never recommend Allegra to anyone, for any possible reason. She communicates poorly. The apartment is a complete mess. She is irresponsible and should not be pet sitting. She does not follow through with services as planned. I arranged to board my dog with Allegra, providing clear info. and all items needed. A few hours after dropping off Stella, I learned Allegra promptly went to a concert, leaving Stella alone / upset in a completely new & foreign environment. I was traveling out of town; fortunately was able to get a friend to pick up Stella. Of course, my friend had to wait outside the apartment until Allegra meandered home at her pleasure. Allegra “cancelled” the booking. I was going to pick up Stella immediately regardless per above. However, she didn’t like the fact my dog was barking / upset due to being left alone as noted. Stella is perfectly fine staying alone; it’s the stupidity of immediately leaving her alone in a new place. Allegra also claimed Stella kept grabbing shoes. This fact indicates Allegra has no business pet sitting - if your house is a mess, with a bunch of shoes laying around, any dog is going to grab them. Allegra also claimed I never confirmed the booking. This is patently false, as documented on the Rover app. I not only confirmed it, I gave her $20 tip at drop-off as a nice gesture, etc. I was astounded at how poor this experience was. I’ve used Rover in the past quite successfully. Stella had zero issues staying with others, despite being younger. Whether Rover removes Allegra, you certainly should not consider her for anything.

Safety, trust & environment
Dogs are allowed on the furniture in my apartment. I don’t have a yard but live in a walkable area with access to a dog park. I generally only watch one dog at a time (unless it’s multiple dogs from the same home) to ensure their safety and attention.

Information Allegra K. would like to know about your pet
Please let me know if your dog takes any medications and has any quirks or things I should be aware of (ex. Will not go to the bathroom at all in the rain, loves playtime after meals, etc.)
A typical day
I wake up around 8 AM to feed doggos and start the day. After breakfast, we go on a 15 to 20 minute morning walk. At lunchtime, we’ll go on another 10 to 20 minute walk. In the early evening we’ll go out again and spend some time at the dog park. Once we’re back home, we play a little more and I feed doggos dinner. We’ll go out one more time for late night. Oh, and you’ll get as many or as few pics/videos you want throughout our day!

Availability
I work remotely so I’m flexible when it comes to sitting/walking. I don’t have any pets in my home-except for my fish but they keep to themselves-and am available to host most times.
