We have a family home - including 1 cat, a golden retriever and 4 children. I am home full time, so any animals in the home will always be under supervision. Our golden retriever's name is Shorty. She is an unfixed, fully vaccinated 9 year old female who is very high energy and gets along well with other animals. We also have 1 cat who is fully vaccinated, fixed and micro-chipped and are well-socialized with dogs. **Veterinary certificates are available upon request. We can provide a very social environment for animals in our care including daily walks, playtime and full-day access to a semi-fenced yard with leads to keep them safely on-site. We are nearby to both Ben Franklin Park and Craig Henry Park - both of which are favourite spots for our dog to get in some exercise. Our animals as well as visitor's animals are welcome to lay their heads wherever they feel most comfortable - whether it be on one of many beds, the couch, or our large orthopedic dog bed. We are within a 10 minute drive to our veterinary hospital which offers 24-hour emergency care. The VCA Ottawa Veterinary Hospital is well-trusted and currently provides care for all of our furry family members. We have experience in rehabilitating our current family dog who struggled with separation anxiety and leash pulling. We're happy to say that she has come quite some way over the last few years of working with her. Our animals are all fed separate diets and on different feeding schedules; so accommodating for clients will not be an issue if needed. We have plenty of love to give and are looking forward to each new future booking.
