Pet care experience
I have a background in both psychology and business and love spending my free time with animals. From bottle feeding kittens, to pet-sitting blind dogs and adopting senior cats, I’ve never met an animal I didn’t instantly love. I enjoy trying to teach dogs a trick or two and love getting to know the unique personality of every animal I meet!

Alixandria was fantastic! She took great care of my very needy dog, found out about Sable's likes and dislikes and made sure she understood all our instructions clearly. She sent me a lot of pictures of Sable obviously having a great time! Even though Sable is very particular about people, she bonded right away. I definitely recommend Alixandria to anyone who is worried about how their dog will behave when left alone with a sitter.
Alixandria has cared for my pets again and again and each time I come home to the happiest four legged crew. She is attentive and caring to all of their needs. She is great with both my larger pup and my smaller and even my shy cat climbs right into her lap! Grateful for all the help she has provided and will definitely be reaching out to her again!
Alixandria has cared for my many animals over the years. She is excellent with both cats and dogs. She recently watched my two dogs for a week while I was on vacation. I received frequent updates with photos and videos of them — both dogs were SO happy in Alixandria’s care and it was clear she took care of them as if they were own. All instructions around their food/dietary needs were followed perfectly, and they got so much exercise during their outside play time. Hiring Alixandria means never having to worry if your pup is in good hands, because you know they’re not only safe but also having a great time. I highly recommend Alixandria. I will continue using her for all pet care needs.

When caring for pets in their home, I make sure I understand what the animal’s typical routine looks like and I try to stick to it as much as possible. I want to know what motivates and excites the animals in my care. From treats, to extra time outdoors, my goal is to help your pet stick to a healthy and happy routine until you return. Understanding the unique needs of the animal in my care is my top priority and I adjust my approach accordingly and in collaboration with the pet’s parents.

A typical day
Depending on your pet’s preferences, I live near walking and hiking trails for excellent outdoor adventures. When watching dogs, I like to teach them a few tricks, play with toys, and hike. If your dog is more on the mellow side, I have music playlists that I play while they lounge (and I read)!
