Hi there, my name is Ali and I can't wait to meet you and your dog! I’m an animal lover through and through: I have always been around dogs and love them just as unconditionally as they love us! And I used to ride and train horses professionally. Being around such smart, caring and loving animals has helped me become the understanding, responsible and reliable person I am today. I have a dog, Roxy, who I rescued from a shelter a year ago. She came to me after being abused and then abandoned. It has been a journey of love, time, patience, and honoring her experiences as I try to prove to her that I deserve her trust. She has come around and is both the best dog and my best friend. My experience with Roxy taught me that dogs aren’t “bad” — the challenging or confusing behavior comes from a place of trying to communicate a need. I have a flexible schedule and am happy to commute or give dog walks in and around Royal Oak, where I live. I would love to earn you and your dog’s trust and help your dog feel right at home when you’re away. In addition to dog walking, I’m comfortable caring for horses.
