Pet care experience
I had a dog from puppy age to old age which involved all sorts for different care, patience and energy levels! In addition to caring for my own dog, I have looked after pups of friends and neighbours over the years. I am happy to help keep up established training routines for younger dogs, and I have experience with senior dog care and administering medications or special feeding requirements. I work part time from home so I am flexible with my availability and can be around for dogs who need company. I enjoy going walking and have several lovely spots near my home if your dog stays or visits.

Alix bonded and looked after my two high-maintenance cats while I waas out of town. She was very attentive and she really connected with my cats. By the time I got back, one of them was sitting on Alix's lap, chilling with her. I trust Alix and would love to have her cat sit/ house sit for me again!
My dog Alva has been staying with Alix a few times and I always felt at ease leaving her. She always seemed very content when I picked her up again and loved the garden, plus went on nice walks with Alix! Alix is very caring and I'd definitely recommend her.

At your home, I will respect your space, making sure to get familiar with your pets routine and your rules for them! I am a careful and tidy guest. At home, I have enough space for a dog to play and relax - on the sofa/armchair if that's where they're comfy! We also have a secure back garden in a peaceful neighbourhood, as well as a few great walking spots just around the corner.

A typical day
Depending on your dog, we can go for long or short walks in the area, and if they are staying we have garden space for them to play or relax. We can also stay indoors for some enrichment play or resting.
