Pet care experience
I've had pets my entire life growing up, both cats and dogs. I've had dogs from puppies to senior ages, large and small. I still have a dog at my parents place but none of my own due to full time work as an adult nurse. I often pet sit for friends whenever needed. Being around animals brings me a lot of joy and I'd love to pet sit more. I work full time as an adult nurse Monday to Friday so would be available for services Friday to Sunday.

Alix (my next door neighbour) recently looked after my two cats while I was on holiday. We usually put them in a cattery but the cattery didn’t have availability for the whole time we were away. Alix offered to help get us out of a bind and I was incredibly grateful knowing that they were going to be very well looked after. Alix is a huge pet lover and my cats absolutely adore her, they go crazy every time they see her and always meow for her through the balcony glass. Alix spent a lot of time playing with them and giving them lots of love and cuddles and also kept me updated while I was away to show me that they were all having a lovely time. I honestly think that pet sitting isn’t just a job for her, she enjoys the company and truly cares that they have the best time possible. I’d highly recommend Alix to anyone else looking for someone to look after their four legged friends!!

I live in a 2 bedroom flat with a large balcony with high walls which is safe for dogs to be on. I also live with a flatmate who loves animals as much as I do, so your pets will have double the love and attention!

A typical day
I live just down the road to a large green park which extends into a countryside walk. I often go for easy to moderate hikes at the weekend, so your doggo will be well exercised with me and they'll have all the snuggles they like when we get home :)

Availability
I work full time Monday to Friday so I would be available for walking, day care and overnight boarding at the weekends from Friday evening to Sunday evening. Occasionally I do work from home or use up some annual leave so I will be able to open up my calendar for day care some days during the week too.
