Pet care experience
Along with a few years of petsitting experience, I’ve also taken care of family pets since I was 10, including dogs and cats. I have had my own dog for 5 years now and take care of her myself.

Alix recently took care of my dog and six cats (some of which need to stay separated) for seven days while we were out of state. Alix took the time to learn about each of our pets likes and dislikes prior to our departure. While we were away Alix would occasionally send photos of our pets and update us on their wellbeing. I would highly recommend Alix with great comfort that your furry friend will be happy and healthy when you return.
I have 2 cats and recently acquired a third. Alix has pet sit for us for the last few years, sometimes for a long weekend, and sometimes for a couple of weeks. I can always depend on her to be at the house when I ask and to make sure they are fed, have clean litter boxes, have a little time outside, and some time for love and caring. Even our grumpy cat likes her! She sends pictures of them so I know they are in good hands. I’m so lucky she lives across the street!
Alix is a great Pet sitter! She came twice a day to take care of our large dog Jax while we were on vacation! She walked him outside in our front yard and took the time to play with him ( Jax loved that). Besides being a reliable pet sitter , we knew she looked forward to hanging out with Jax :)

Energy levels and any specific training they have/don’t have, if they are protective/territorial over toys and/or food, and how they are with a leash. + any other specific instructions owners would like to give. It’s very important to me to try and keep a dogs schedule that they are used to in order to make them most comfortable.
A typical day
I can play with toys with the dogs and walk with them on nearby trails/sidewalks. If there are nearby fields or gated areas, I can run around there with them.

I have taken care of my dog every day for five years now. I also take care of my grandma and neighbor’s cats on occasion.
