I also strive to give owners peace of mind on vacations knowing their pets are expertly cared for in a home environment without the stress of a kennel. Love, play and exercise are daily activities. 💕🐕 Rules ALL dogs must be well potty-trained. NO EXCEPTIONS. If your dog has accidents in your home, please do not bring them to mine. I DO NOT take new clients into my home without a meet and greet first. If you do not have a profile set up for your dog I likely will not reply. I am sorry to have to post this but I have been getting some very questionable requests lately. Large dogs must have good manners. No jumping, counter surfing, or severe leash reactivity/pulling. Unfortunately, I cannot care for hyperactive dogs or those that require a lot of exercise. I am able to walk for 2 to 3 short potty walks or a 1 to 2 mile hike/walk per day.

This was our first experience with Alix (aside from a meet and greet we had arranged a few weeks ago) and we were impressed with her professionalism and ability to make our dog Bella, who had never been away from our home overnight, comfortable. A typical day
My dogs love being active in nature, whether it is in the woods or a field. Off leash is available for those that are well trained. Safety first!! We go to Foxhaven, Preddy Creek, Dunlora and the Rivanna trail. Dogs that love swimming will be in heaven!! Lapdogs will be spoiled!!

Availability
Doggy hiking/walks are only available Monday through Friday. Special circumstances are often available (i.e. sitting). Dogs have constant human companship in my home as my mother is available when I may be occupied with other walks and visits.
