I have never watched dogs on a 'professional' level, but have cared for my own for many years in addition to pet sitting for friends and family members. I have handled sick dogs, healthy dogs, abused dogs and dogs of all ages. I am licensed with the Florida Department of Health and am currently working towards my medical degree so can work to accommodate any injections (insulin) or administration of medications. I do not currently have any dogs or cats of my own, so no need to worry about them getting along -- I do have two tortoises I keep in my back yard, but I can relocate them for your dog's outdoor time with no concern. I also live very near to a very good veterinary clinic if an emergency arises (which I hope will not occur). Dog's are just as big a part of the family as children are and I will ensure I care for them as such. You can contact me at any time during the day for updates or photos or to simply check in on them (I do prefer text message due to working from home, but can arrange phone calls as well).
