Hi there! My name is Ginger and I love all animals. I grew up with at least 6 animals at a time, have 2 tuxedo cats of my own, a senior black cat, and two guinea pigs. I have cared for cats and kittens, dogs and puppies, birds, and even a goat! It is my mission in life to make sure your babies are as happy and healthy as possible! I always take my time with pets making sure they're comfortable and well cared for. I am limited to bus transportation only, and so for new requests I can only pet sit in or near Carrboro.

I can administer oral medication if needed, and keep a close eye on any health conditions or behavioral needs that they have. If your pet has allergies or sensitivities to other animals/humans that is important to know. I will not sit agressive dogs that try to attack other humans or animals. However if your pet is just nervous or barks, just a heads up is ok!
A typical day
For any pet I love to start out with a treat to build trust. Then I'll follow your set schedule (feeding times, walks, going outside, play time etc).

Availability
I am an Americorps vista with a full time, mostly virtual position. I am limited to bus transportation only, and so for new requests I can only pet sit in or near Carrboro. I am typically available every day for drop ins and walks! I am flexible when it comes to times of day.
