Pet care experience
I have always loved dogs and grew up helping to walk and care for the pets of my friends and relatives. In June, 2022 I finally brought home a puppy of my own. I have enjoyed raising my dog and teaching him many basic skills as well as some fun tricks. I would love to provide you with some peace of mind when you have to leave your pets home alone. I am excited to drop by and give them a walk, potty break, play time, or just some companionship.

I highly recommend Alisa! We have had bad luck with pet sitters in the past and this was the first time my cat wasn’t completely upset after I returned home from vacation. My cat was happy, eating well, and was not starved for attention. I plan to book Alisa for all of my trips from now on! If I could give more than five stars I would.
Alissa was very caring with our dog who was just home after recovering from a worrying post-operative episode. She was very precise in communication as well, so that neither she nor we had any surprises or unmet requirements. We recommend Alissa.

I have recently gone through puppyhood with my dog and really worked hard to train him things from basic manners to a few fun tricks. I am experienced with dog and puppy training. I am ready to have as much patience as needed when meeting your pet, since I know some can be shy or fearful around strangers. If boarding in my home, I have a ~1 year old, playful Havanese who would love to keep your dog company. We have a fenced-in back patio for quick potty breaks and can go on plenty of walks as well. *Note* I can only accept hypoallergenic dogs for boarding in my home due to an allergy. I am happy to sit for dogs and cats of all kinds in your home though :)

A typical day
I believe it is important for pets to have both their physical and mental needs met. I look forward to taking your dog out for walks, but also working to help stimulate them mentally with games/puzzles/training or other enrichment.

Availability
I am currently working part time and work from home. I have a lot of flexibility in my schedule to hang out with and help care for your pets. Currently, I am most flexible on weekdays but do have some availability on weekends as well.
