Pet care experience
Heading out of town and seeking a loving, safe & engaging environment for your pooch? Perhaps swamped at work, with a deadline on a project but feel guilty to leave your furbaby home alone for twelve hours? I'm fun, dedicated, attentive, experienced with special requests, a bit of a home-body... and just crazy about dogs! My goal is to offer the best home-away-from-home experience for your four legged buddy (please note, with minimal planning I am available to dog-sit at your home too.) I have a M-F gig but my office is only 5 minutes from home (lunch break potty breaks!) do not have a yard but located near the Capital Campus (best "backyard" with tons of walking paths; I'm also a dog-mom to Rocco, who is social and LOVES playdates; I'm available for day & overnight sitting, being extremely open to work with your best friend's needs. Rocco is a nearly 3-yr-old Aussie mix whom is VERY welcoming to new friends. He loves to be active but also enjoys our snuggle sessions, which would most definitely include your pooch(es)! After all, you can enjoy your vacation or focus on work a bit easier knowing that your dog is in a loving, safe and happy dog-centric home! Woof, woof, woof! -Alissa (and Rocco)

What is your dog's routine; food, exercise, playtime? Would you like daily updates or pictures while hanging out with your dog? In case of emergencies, who is your vet? (I take Rocco to SouthBay myself.) Does your dog ever get aggressive with other dogs/people, especially around food? Any personality quirks that I should be aware of? What commands does your dog respond to?
A typical day
Keeping your dog's routine is important to me, and will honor those activities that you and your dog do together (except for running... I'm more of a walker!) But fetch games, walks or a mix of both will be important daily activities. In addition, visits to the dog park, MudBay for attention or even Home Depot on a rainy day could be on the itinerary! In the evening, it will be relaxing nights cuddled up next to me on the couch or on your dogs favorite dog bed with a fire going, most likely!
