I am in my early thirties and have lived in Manhattan for 7+ years. I work full-time and am a true dog lover! I currently don't own a dog, but have been dog sitting for 8+ years and love every second of it. My apartment is a true one bedroom on a 3rd Avenue, in Rose Hill. My apt faces the rear of the building so noise is truly minimal throughout the day. The building itself is well maintained and I make a conscious effort to keep my apt clean. My unit is on the second floor of the building (so only one flight of stairs!), but there is no elevator option, so if your pup isn’t great with steps it may not be the best fit. I live in close proximity to multiple dog parks and the east river walking/running path . I love exploring the city, discovering new restaurants and just being out & about, so you can be sure your dog is getting plenty of exercise, fun, and attention during his/her play-cation! Although I work during the week, I am committed to my sitter duties and when possibly I try to adjust my schedule to best fit the dogs needs. In some cases I can bring smaller dogs to the office.
