I have been watching for dogs for years and would love the chance to take care of your dog! I took care of my own dog for 8 years before becoming a nearly full-time dog sitter in Washington DC (with a great rating!). I am now back in New York in the Upper East Side and am looking to continue watching dogs through Rover. I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes, breeds, and ages but prefer a weight limit of 60 pounds. I am comfortable giving medicine to the dog or letting him/her out as many times as necessary. All dogs are different and I will tailor my sitting strategy to your dog's needs specifically. I love sending pictures and updates to the owners, so you will never worry about your dog's well being.

Zuko had a great time on his walk with Alissa. He came back happy and ready for a long nap. She was on time, communicative, and easy to work with. Would definitely have Alissa take Zuko for a walk again!

Alissa watched our mini poodle Reuben for 2 week nights when we went on a trip. I really appreciated her taking the time to meet me and my dog before our stay so I felt very comfortable leaving Reub with her. Reuben and Alissa seemed to have a great time together! It was great how Alissa sent us pictures and kept us updated. She works from home and I really appreciated knowing that someone would be there with Reuben in an unfamiliar environment. I would book with Alissa again :)

A typical day
I love taking dogs on walks and will be happy to accommodate whatever schedule you have set with your dog for activity. I will only bring them to a dog park with your permission. I love a few blocks from Central Park and love to take them for walks here!

As of September 2022 I am a graduate student taking evening classes Monday - Thursday. I will be available during the day and in the evening except between 5:30pm-8:30pm.
