Hi there! My name is Alison and I look forward to helping care for your beloved furry companions! I've loved dogs my entire life and have had numerous dogs over the years. I currently have a 1.5 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback named Ripley, who is extremely dog-friendly and playful. I offer some dog boarding, but primarily offer dog walking and home visits if your pet prefers to stay in their own space. If you are interested in overnight boarding, I work from home which means your dogs will have lots of company and attention all day :) I just require that they be dog-friendly, as my dog Ripley will be here in the home with them. I am an active volunteer for Lifeline Animal Project in Atlanta and have years of experience working with, fostering, and walking dogs of all breeds and sizes. Animal welfare is a passion of mine and I have a soft spot for all of the adopted pups out there. :) Please reach out if you would like any additional non-Rover references. Ali was fantastic - responsive, responsible, attentive, and communicative. She took Riley on walks, played with other dogs, and sent us lots of photos showing what Riley was up to during his time with her.
Alison had no problem at all with my Rhodesian Ridgeback. She is on time, super reliable. She also has volunteered at the animal shelter, where I have bumped into her! She is truly passionate and a dog whisperer. I highly recomend her!
Bella had a super time with Alison. She came back smiling! Alison took great care of her.
Alison has pet sat for me several times and done a wonderful job. My cat adores her and I never have to worry when I travel. She gives frequent updates and pictures and I always come home to a happy critter and perfect home. She has wonderful animal sense, so even the shy ones warm up to her, and I always trust her to make the right decisions. I can't recommend her enough!

Because I work from home I am super available to the animals that come and stay with me. The more the merrier! Ripley (my pup) agrees. With regard to dog-walking, I have a ton of experience walking all kinds and sometimes bring an Easywalk harness to help with strong pullers :). It works so well to help curb strong pullers and is super comfortable for the dogs which is important to me.

I have had dogs since I was a child, and am comfortable with all breeds, all temperments (low energy to high energy), pets that have separation anxiety or are just a bit on the shy side and need a little extra TLC and patience, etc. I am also comfortable with dogs that do not care for other dogs or cats. No problem :) I am more than happy and able to accommodate your pet’s particular needs - you just let me know what those are :)
A typical day
There are so many wonderful parks and neighborhoods in Atlanta to take advantage of! I love hiking with my own pup (Ripley) and have some favorite in-town spots that your dogs will love! :)
