Pet care experience
Hello! We are Alison and Scott and we have years of experience caring for our fur nieces and nephews and would love to meet and care for yours too. We have an 9-year old dog and 3-year old cat who mean the absolute world to us. We understand that pets are family members and we would treat yours like they were our own! We know how stressful it can be for both you and your pets, so we make it my highest priority to reduce that anxiety by following your instructions to perfection and providing regular updates and photos. Pets staying in our home are welcome to all common areas. We also have a fully fenced backyard for dogs who cannot get enough outside time!

Alison was very good with my dog Max. I appreciated the photos she sent and her concern for Max's well-being was quite evident. I will definitely ask Alison to dog-sit in the future.
Milo loved Allison and had a great day full of exercise and playing! Allison sent pictures often throughout the day and was very easy to communicate with. I will definitely be hiring her again!

Whether your pet is staying with us, or we are visiting your home, we will treat your pets and home with the utmost respect and follow any instructions you provide! We like to keep your pet's routines as consistent as possible while they are missing their favourite humans. As pet parents who have been on the other end of services, we know exactly how important it is to feel confident and comfortable with the person you choose to care for your pets and home! We are more than happy to send daily photos and updates, or whatever puts your mind at ease.

We require all pets to be up to date on their vaccinations. Please arrive with enough food and treats (though we always have extra on hand) for the duration of your pet's stay. Please also send their collar/harness and leash, bedding/crate if applicable, and a favourite toy! We'd love to meet you ahead of time to discuss how we can ensure that your pets get the best care they deserve. We only accept pets that get along with dogs and cats due to the safety of our own pets.
A typical day
We regularly frequent Dartmouth Commons, Sullivan's Pond and Lake Banook for our walks! If your dog likes to play fetch, we are more than happy to do that as well. We have a fully fenced yard for dogs to run around and play in!

Availability
Scott will be available for pet care throughout the day and I currently work full time from Monday to Friday. Pets will not be alone for more than a few hours at a time but feel free to reach out to us if you'd like a more specific schedule!
