Alison has such an amazing way with animals, but especially dogs. She took care of a puppy when he was three months old, my friend's six year old dog, and even my mother's ten year old dog, all while she was still in college. She tended to each of their individual needs and understands that some dogs need special care depending on their age, behavior, or even medical conditions. Alison would take my six year old running and she would help my mother's dog (who had two leg surgeries) up and down flights of stairs, even sometimes carrying her. Her patience and connection with animals is a gift that I have not seen in many others. I am lucky to have found her and would entrust her with any animal.
