Pet care experience
I have extensive experience in taking care of all things furry. I’ve been a dog sitter for roughly three years now and have had two of my own then... I turned into a cat fiend. Now I rely on the kindness of others to get in my dog fix. I prefer small or medium dogs for boarding and will walk or house sit small, medium, and large. I live in an apartment complex in the bottom. My door is on the street and I have a fenced in dog yard. I’m a super outdoors freak and love the lost art of walking. Anyway, I give oral medication upon instruction and am flexible on my available days. I have meet and greets at Millie’s Diner in Shockoe Bottom every Tuesday from 9-3pm

Would highly recommend Alison to anyone! She’s stayed with my two dogs on numerous occasions & they are always incredibly well taken care of. Whether it’s staying overnight with them in my home, coming by to walk them, or stopping over for a few hours to hang out with them, she goes above and beyond. I also love that she always sends photo & video updates so I can still see them when I’m away! She’s the first one I trust with my fur babies :)
I have an old, sickly dachshund who needs extra special care. He can’t go up or down stairs and he needs extra patience. Alison is so loving to him and we completely trust her with him. He walks slow and needs extra potty care - Alison is always patient and thorough. She’s also encouraging to him and very upbeat. He loves seeing her! She has experience with cats, spiders, and snakes as well - she is a true animal lover!
