Pet care experience
Hello, throughout the whole of my childhood and adult life there have always been dogs and a variety of other small animals playing a large part. I was bought up with a golden Labrador and a red setter, Archie the rescue “ Egyptian mouse hound “ was my first adult dog followed by 3 chocolate Labradors, a rescue springer and a rescue lab/ collie cross and they were all the best dogs ever. I currently care for a variety of dogs belonging to friends and neighbours, they love coming to stay and I love having them.
Reviews
This is the first time that I have used a dog sitting service and was very worried. Alison put me at ease, talked me through the requirements and I left knowing that Scooby would be looked after. i received daily updates as to his well being, and was relaxed during my absence. Alison clearl;y cared for my Scooby, and I collected him four days later, very satisfied. Dave Wheeler
Alison has been absolutely amazing. We are so happy our girl had such a great family to keep her company over Christmas. Don't hesitate, your dog will have a great time.
Absolutely pleasure to meet Alison. She looked after my Bichon chewy for 2 nights who came home very happy. Really appreciated the photos and updates. Will hope to use Alison again in the future.
Alison was wonderful with our dog! This is the first time we’ve done this & we instantly felt at ease leaving him in her care. She was kind & fantastic at communicating/sending updates. Would 100% recommend & we will be using her services again!

I live a barn conversion on the edge of a village which has a large fully fenced garden and access to plenty of countryside for good walks on or off lead. We also have access to a nearby river if your pet likes a swim. As I’m retired the majority of my time is spent at home with your pet. Pets are allowed on the sofa but not on the beds. Thee is a large kitchen area and external decked area, the back door is always open if needed to allow access to the garden.

Information Alison L. would like to know about your pet
Any special requirements with food etc Are they reactive Are they happy with other dogs being around Are you happy for them to be off lead Is their recall good Are they likely to miss you, can you bring a jumper/dressing gown that you wear
A typical day
Generally as soon as visiting dogs arrive once they have had a drink we head off for a walk. This is the big walk of the day, usually hour and a half to two hours. Home for rest but access to a large garden at all times. Afternoon/ evening walk after their dinner then home for an evening lying on the sofa! I am surrounded by a large variety of walks and can build in a dip in the river should your dog like the water.

I am a retired nurse who is having the gap year I never had when I was younger, I do lots of travelling throughout the year. My most recent dog Herbie passed away last year and I miss having a dog in the house so caring for someone else’s dog when I’m home is the ideal solution for me as I love dogs.
