I am a life-long dog owner and have worked with dogs, cats and other pets for over a decade. My love for pets and working with pets began at a very young age. I have owned dogs since infancy, and around the age of 8 evolved in to working and training my dogs on my own. I had a very strong desire to become a Veterinarian, however once in college my passion to help people in this world to create a positive path in life lead me to a career in Social Work. Working one on one with people in their most vulnerable state has also given me a different world view about all creatures on this planet in general, and I have seen first hand how interactions with a pet can drastically change a persons outlook on life, providing a therapeutic experience and positively enhancing their overall well-being. Because of this I have continued to work with animals in my spare time and to be honest I could not live without constant interaction from my furry friends! In addition to dogs I have also owned cats and multiple other small caged/aquarium pets as well. I have worked professionally in the capacity of an Adoptions Counselor with the Humane Society, a Vet Tech Assistant at a Veterinary office, I have worked at a doggy daycare as a Pet Care Specialist and Driver, as well as worked off and on for many years as a dog/cat sitter and walker. I am extremely knowledgeable of pet behavior and can work with animals of all temperaments and successfully deal with any special needs. Your fur baby will be in great hands with me!
