Dogs, puppies, rabbits and one cat have been a part of my life since childhood. I have experience with a variety of breeds and can adapt effortlessly to their needs and personalities. I am an educator of 16 years which has sharpened my intuitive nature in understanding how a pet (or human) is feeling. I will tend to your pet's need according to their mood and personality. Routine and positive interaction creates a trustworthy bond. I love to spend time with my animal friends. It's a win/win anytime I get to be around animals!

Ali did a great job watching my quirky dog, Sadie. She followed my instructions, kept me informed and took Sadie for a walk. When I got home Sadie was happy to see me, but ran down the stairs, I think, in search of Ali. I will definitely use Ali again!

My experience with a reactive, rescue dog has led me into hours of care investigation, understanding personalities/body cues, training and working with the animal patiently and lovingly. I know I leave overly detailed instructions for my dog when I am away, so please feel free to tell me as much as you see fit so that I may lovingly care for your pet. Likes, dislikes, hiding spaces, rewards for behavior and anything else that drives your pet on a daily basis. My goal is to provide similar care its parents give to provide consistency and calmness and contentedness to your sweet animal. I can meticulously follow your pet's medical instruction as needed.
A typical day
I will follow any personalized instructions that make your pet happy! I enjoy hiking, nature walks, dipping feet in creeks and simply hanging out of the porch and watching the birds. I am an excellent partner in ball throwing games. My dog is always squeaking toys and requesting tug of war. We also play exciting games of hide and seek in the house with either me hiding, a beloved toy/stuffy or tasty treats. Mental stimulation games or light training help your dog feel confident and serve as an energy release.
