Young professional dog walker!
Pet care experience
I have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life, and was my neighborhood pet sitter when I was younger. But as life went on and things changed I moved away from pet care as my form of income. Since the pandemic, I have quit my 9-5 job to become a full time dog walker. I walked for a small business (Paw Pack LLC) in Connecticut from February of 2021 until Feb of 2022, then decided to move to Austin! But in my time with The Paw Pack I provided a multitude of services, which include over night care (at my place or the clients’), full day care, on and off leashed park trips, leashed neighborhood walks, and drop ins. I also got experience and training with aggressive/reactive dogs, senior dogs as old as 16, and puppies as young as 12 weeks.
Reviews
Excellent care of our two small dogs. They were walked and cared for. House was clean and the dogs were relaxed and happy when we came home! I would 100% recommend her!
Alison was very attentive with our dogs and kept in communication with me throughout our trip. We felt so at ease knowing she was taking care of our pups.
Alison was wonderful! She house sat for us which included watching our cats, dogs, fish and turtles for two weeks while we vacationed overseas. She took pictures everyday of all the pets and gave us insights into their day. This made us feel at ease and made our vacation that much more enjoyable. Alison also watered our many plants, checked the mail, made sure to take all trash cans out and even cleaned our house when she left so we came home to a happy, clean home after several long plane rides. I would use Alison again and highly recommend her. Thanks again Alison!
Ali is the best! She sent lots of photos and updates, and took wonderful care of our pup and our home.

Before every sitting job, I always make sure to clarify with the owners that I am 100% clear on the routine for the dog and that it’s written down somewhere for me to reference so I don’t have to bug the client there after. But normally I start the day with a walk/let out, depending on the dog and the weather. Then breakfast and lovins time before the day starts. Depending on the situation, I would either take the dog with me throughout my day or leave the dog home and make sure I come back every few hrs to check on them. I am very flexible and will model my day around the client’s preferences.
Information Alison C. would like to know about your pet
There is an endless list of things you should know about a clients’ dog beforehand, but here are some of the most important things: name, age, breed, good/bad on recall, on-going training the client wants reinforced, how the dog gets along with other animals, client and dog’s past experiences at a park (off leash location), energy level, potty and feeding/meds schedule, and how they are in the car.
A typical day
I believe that dogs are at their best and are happiest when they are physically and mentally stimulated for at the very least a few hrs every day. I love taking dogs, even groups of dogs, to the park to run around and expel as much energy as possible. If your dog is sleeping after I return them, I believe I’ve done my job well! Also whenever I am at the park, my phone is never out (unless pictures are requested!), and the dogs have my undivided attention. It’s a prerogative of mine to engage with them, and run around with them to create a bond of trust. In any down time, I make sure that the dog has something to do, weather that’s a bone or toy to chew on or getting scritches and lovins from me!

Availability
I am currently a part time delivery driver for Tomlinson’s Feed on average about 3 days a week. My shifts are from 10:30 am - 7:00 pm for the most part, but they have allowed flexibility to be able to stop in mid day and let any dogs that I am sitting out. So to take on a client they would have to be comfortable not using the bathroom for about 4 hrs. Again, this isn’t every day but there is an off chance that I have 1 or 2 shifts during a sitting gig. Also something to note: my address in this app is the location of the Tomlinson’s I work at so my client is never further than 10 miles from where I work. If I do boarding at my apartment with your pup, just request my address separately. I live in south Austin!
