Pet care experience
I’m a kind-hearted, gentle former teacher with a love for animals. Besides pet sitting here on Rover for over three years, I’ve been a pet owner most of my life. Animals are precious members of the family, and I will certainly treat your pets as mine! I have a flexible work schedule and am usually home by 1pm if I'm not working from home. On most weekends, I can walk, play with, or keep your pets company at almost any time. I have a fenced in yard and a playful 2-year old pup who loves friends! We've had all sorts of dogs here: big, small, puppies, old, and it's always been very peaceful and comfortable for all animals. I live in a great neighborhood very close to Dexter park and a dog park. What might set me apart from others is that I’m very good at following exact instructions and respecting your way of doing things, which makes me highly trustworthy. I’m also reliable and can think quick on my feet if necessary.

Alison has such a wonderful way of interacting with dogs. She has been taking care of our dog Pepper while we are away and on busy days. Pepper can be nervous and has a few special needs but Alison makes sure to calm her down with a gentle approach. Pepper now expresses great joy every time she sees Alison. While away, we get pictures and daily updates about Pepper from her.
Alison is awesome. she loves dogs. she took very good care of Hyacinth also she communicated often with photos. I recommend Alison and would not hesitate to call her again. Joge
Alison was just a dream to have care for our two dogs. She offered lots of play time, walks, and sweet photos and a great video. Our dogs couldn’t have been better hands! Will definitely have her back!
Alison took wonderful care of Emmett while I was away for a week - She was super responsive/flexible, has a cute yard area, as well as an adorable pup and cat to keep your pets company too.

I have a fenced in yard and a friendly dog of my own. I also can crate your dog if you'd like. My dog has a big crate she doesn't really use anymore or you could bring your own. Dogs are welcome on the sofas and bed :) I live in a house with 4 condo units. I own my condo and my neighbors in the house are all awesome and are aware of my pet care business.

Is the dog good with other dogs and strangers (thinking about walks on the street)? Is the dog good with cats (I have one). Any medications or health issues? No breed preference. I like all dogs.
A typical day
We will go on walks throughout the Providence West Side. I live near Dexter Park, so we can go there. There is also a dog park nearby! Whatever the dog likes to do, I'm down! Playing with tennis balls, frisbees, sticks, other toys, etc, is fun. I also love snuggling with dogs, so hanging outside or inside giving the dog attention is something I'd naturally do.

Availability
I work a flexible job and am either home working or out until 1ish. If I had to be gone longer, I can always run home and walk the dogs or take them to the park for a bit before returning. Weekends I will plan to be around most of the day when I have a dog here so I can play with your pup and give them the attention they need!
