Pet care experience
If you have questions or a request please contact me! I have been taking care of animals for a long time! They will be happy and well cared for and might not want to leave! I will send you photos and can even set up a puppy cam for drop in video visits! I am currently working from home so I can accommodate all schedules. Typical routine starts in the morning and I am a morning person…sit outside with lightly fenced yard that I watch them on. The fence is more of a 3 ft high barrier fence but the dogs are never outside alone and no one has ever tried to escape! The backyard backs to nature that if the dogs went into it only backs up to another house and both neighbors are fenced deep. I have never had a dog go far but I am aware of where it goes and they wouldn’t get anywhere. Lots of play time and walks during the day/evening. I typically do bathroom breaks every 1-2 hours (unless crazy rains) as I don’t like accidents or marking in the house. I work from home so unless I have to run out then I would not be crating. If boarding will only be for one or two days, I typically stay home unless I have a previously scheduled appointment. I have a level 2 background clearance with the FBI and state and local law enforcement background check so you rest assured they are safe. I have rescued a total of 6 dogs over the years but 4 of them were seniors so they weren’t with us too long. Dogs and children have a good sense of character ;) I have a lightly fenced backyard - meaning that it is more like a barrier fence but not to keep them secured. Dogs are only out there when I am there. I relocated to Acworth in May of 2022, but had a full doggy day care, training and boarding in Florida where we moved from. My house is carpeted with brand new carpet - so I take them on frequent potty breaks to keep it clean as I have a very sensitive sense of smell! If you are out of town or wanted to FaceTime to see/meet before coming in person, I can accommodate! When we have dogs visiting, I like to give each dog their own space. I do not restrict them to this space, it is just set up as their space. Typically the morning wake up begins with time outside. I sit out there while I am waking up and checking email and then come in to feed them. After feeding another bathroom break and playtime inside. Typically I take out every 2 hours to avoid accidents. My backyard is lightly fenced with a 3 ft barrier fence but the dogs are never left outside alone. No animal has ever escaped nor have I had any issues. Inside is typically the downstairs. I am typically home the whole time unless I have a prior scheduled appointment or running to the store. I feed dogs separately always.
Reviews
Alisha was my guardian angel. My spring break vacation was an unexpected hospital stay and Alisha accommodated my family by adjusting her schedule to care for our Ms Coco Chanel. She provided updates and pictures. I will definitely be reaching out to Coco's new extended family in the future. Thanks again for everything!!
I will definitely be using Alisha again if I am in the Acworth area!! She totally made me feel at ease leaving my girls with her for the weekend of Christmas. She kept me updated throughout the weekend with snapshots of the girls cuddling with Alisha's mom.
Did a good job! Thank you for taking care of my kitties and guinea pig.
Kash loves it at Alisha’s! As soon as we reach the door, he is jumping to get in and see his friends. I never have to worry about how he is doing.

I have a barrier fenced backyard and keep the downstairs for pups that are visiting. If I have more than one dog I do communicate that and I typically have a separate space for each pup just in case that want to be left alone. If you would like your dog to be sat solo (which most of the times I do) just please let me know or again, I will communicate if I have more that one dog coming to visit. If I have more than one, they will NEVER be left alone with the other dog, feedings are always separate, and I slowly introduce them for safety.

Information Alisha W. would like to know about your pet
Here is what I would like to know: Any special needs Feeding schedule Activity level Any behaviors (chewing, accidents, morning energy, jumping, etc) For dogs that are larger than 40 pounds I do need to confirm their activity and training. I say that because we had a dog visiting that would get very excited and she thought she was a small dog when in fact she was quite large. She would get excited and run through the house not knowing her size and knock down furniture and unfortunately trampled over my little dog causing an injury. She would also jump up and leave bruises. So, to avoid this, if your dog is a large dog, I may be able to take but need to clarify these things.
A typical day
Morning wake up starts with play and explore outside. Then breakfast (according to your schedule). We walk, play games and more. Lots of outdoor time! A lot of love and your pup will be treated like family - which includes a lot of love an attention in our house. I do enjoy hiking and can take the pup with for a hike if the pup enjoys those activities.

Availability
When I am available for sitting I am typically home. I do work full time but most of when I am working I am traveling which I would not be sitting when I am traveling. If I will be working I do communicate that with you and will always be open and transparent.
