Pet care experience
My first dog (and first love) was a miniature Australian shepherd, Bella. She taught me how to be a good dog companion with her unwavering companionship, intensity and high energy. My husband and I now have a standard Australian shepherd (Bear) and a very large rescue dog (Bodie). I regularly take my dogs for jogs and hikes and am no stranger to frequent dog walks. We won’t be able to watch your pup in our home, but I can come to your home.

Alisha did a great job looking after Wrigley, who is an energetic 85lb dog. He was a little nervous perhaps surprised when she came to check on him which has never happened before. Alisha was patient and took her time for Wrigley to warm up to her. After that, the drop in visit went just fine. She even stayed a little beyond the 30 minutes to make sure he was good. Would definitely book with Alisha again!
Alisha is the absolute best dog mom. She’s extremely attentive, compassionate, and caring, not only to her own dogs but to all the dogs! My dog absolutely adores her and is over the moon when she comes to visit. She is very knowledgeable about dog health and behavior, and is extremely detail oriented and organized. I entrust her fully to take care of my dog.

If house sitting, I am happy to take your dog for walks and play time multiple times/day. If just a lunch time walk is needed I can do that too, just let me know what your pet is accustomed to and I can take care of their needs.

A typical day
Morning start with belly rubs and head scratches. First things first, we gotta take care of business! Then a good breakfast and a nice walk (unless the walk and business go together :) I spend a lot of time studying, but love to get up and stretch my legs and say high to the animals frequently. Multiple walks a day are a must, unless your pet isn’t accustomed to this. We love a good hike, or snug. Really it’s up to you pet owners to let me know how to best take care of your pet ;) Of course treats are always welcomed!
