Hello! My name is Alisha! I have devoted my life to animals and their care in many ways! Currently, I work as a pet groomer during the day most days. I have experience handling hundreds of dogs of all ages, temperaments, and energy levels thanks to my five years in the field! Before I became a groomer, I worked as a veterinary assistant for a couple years and cared for dogs who were boarding at my past veterinary office job, making sure they had appropriate food and water available to them, keeping them comfortable with blankets, toys, and affection; walking them, and administering medication and changing bandages for those dogs who needed it. Overall, I was given a task very similar to that of Rover: keep peoples' fur babies happy, safe and comfortable! When I'm not at work grooming during the morning and afternoon or providing walks or visits for pets through Rover, I care for my animals at home. I have four cats and two ferrets who love snuggling and playing together, so you might see pictures of me with them included in my gallery! I have experience not only in the professional field of pet care services, but also in home pet care. I care for my own pets, along with having watched many different pets for my relatives, college professors, occasional grooming clients, and people who have reached me through Rover. I've watched old dogs, puppies, cats, special needs dogs, and multiple animal homes. I can come in as early as 5:30am-7:00am to provide food and water along with playtime and any other necessary requirements for pets, and visit again between the hours of 4:00pm-11:30pm. I'm willing to be flexible on pet sitting arrangements, and will come in as a pet owner sees fit. I love walking dogs, taking dogs to local dog parks (if the owner permits, of course!), and even taking dogs on runs. I love to tire energetic dogs out so we both go to sleep happy! I am willing to walk dogs and watch any pets for just about as long as you'd like, and can work out times with you in person during a meet and greet or over the phone or app. Thank you so much for considering me to care for your pets!
