Pet care experience
After having a golden retriever for 11 years and fostering and adopting a little black cat, I have realized how much animals play a role in my life. I am happy to look after your pets like they are my own and am willing to give any care your pet needs. Animals are such an important part of many of our lives. I understand having such a strong connection to your pet and not even wanting to leave them during the day. Unfortunately, life is crazy with work and school, and other tasks. If only we could stay at home all day with our pets! You can trust me to protect and love your pet while you're away and make sure they are happy and healthy when you return.

Alisha is a very caring and friendly animal lover. She would be a great candidate for a dog sitter. She is very responsible when it comes to taking care of animals and will give all her love and attention to them. Someone would be lucky to have Alisha as their dog sitter.
Alisha was amazing!!!! She treated my two labs like royalty. She was great with them and even was able to give them the insulin they needed. Even with COVID, I felt very safe having someone as responsible as her in my home. I will always contact Alisha first when I’m going out of town. Awesome job Alisha!
Alisha was amazing! I have a 12 year old husky named Popeye, and Alisha was great with him. Popeye and her would always play together for hours. Could not recommend her more!

I live alone in a two bedroom apartment so there would be lots of space for your pet to safely roam around. We also have a small fenced in dog park that I could take them to. Our neighborhood is very safe so I usually take walks in the mornings in evenings as well.

A typical day
When I am not at work I enjoy hiking, traveling, and volunteering at the local animal shelter. This has really helped me understand how to work with shy or uncomfortable pets. I am very flexible and willing to work with your pets interests and typical routines to make sure they are happy and comfortable in my care.

Availability
I currently work full time at William & Mary during the day but can check on your pet before/after work or during lunch breaks. During the school year I also take classes/have meetings some night but with the students on summer break I have lots of extra time right now.
