Pet care experience
I am a former veterinarian from Brazil, and I am living in Minnesota since February 2018. For now, I am building my savings to validate my license here in US. I was raised with animals my entire life, so becoming a Vet was a very easy decision for me. Actually, when I was a kid, I already knew my vocation. With 13 years of experience, I am confident that I have the knowledge, and skills for true animal care. I am that person who family members and friends always called to either watch their pets when they are out of town, help them to give medications (which can be challenging, believe me) or take them for a nice long walk when life gets busy, which it is our daily reality. I personally adopted two dogs, and more recently, a cat. They are absolutely my life, and I wouldn't trust in just anybody to take care of my babies. It is a very important responsibility that I am willing to have, because our pets deserve the best in life! I am more than happy to answer any questions or give my references prior to any commitment.

Aline did a great job! She stayed at our house with Lucy and when we got home, our house was perfect and most importantly, Lucy seemed calm and content. We would definitely recommend Aline and would love to have her stay with Lucy again.

Aline did an amazing job with our Molly!....this was the first time we have left our 12 year old Visla at home on vacation. Molly has some special needs as she continues to age and Aline was extremely attentive to Molly's needs. She sent us picture and video updates frequently and was very communicative. Molly had plenty of exercise and was very happy with Aline's company. This allowed us to relax on vacation knowing that Molly was being well cared for and even more confident knowing that Molly was in the care of someone in the veterinary world..Aline even gave us a list of tips to further care for Molly as her needs become more demanding...will definitely be contacting her in the future again.
Aline was our house sitter for several days while our family went skiing. She took care of our Cocker Spaniel, Maine Coon, and two large tropical fish tanks. During that time we always had confidence she was taking the best of care using her veterinary training as well as common sense and a love for animals. In addition to regular care, she needed to give our dog medication as well as treat an eye issue with our cat. Several pictures and videos were sent during her stay so we could see how our animals were doing. We had contractors in the house during this time which also meant more of a challenge managing our outgoing Cocker and shy Maine Coon. Lastly, Aline dealt with the unexpected and serious situation of a sump pump back up. Aline contacted us immediately and helped lessen the damage via phone instructions. This was clearly out of her job description but she handled it well. Certainly recommended!

I have a dog and a cat who are super friendly. I live in a townhouse, so there is space to play inside and outside. Also, I have multiple kennels for overnight or when I am gone, if needed. Since I am free in the mornings, and I have my own car, I can also visit homes and take care of puppies and kitties of all ages (but they are all babies to me).

I would love to have a chance to meet my furry friend and his/her family before we set the deal, because it is important that they all like, and trust me. Otherwise, it will not be a good experience for neither of us. And I do not have any breed preferences or restrictions. My experience showed me that a breed do not define a dog or cat behavior, which does it is how they are raised.
A typical day
I live less than 5 minutes from a paved trail, and there is a baseball field in the same area where I bring my pup to play all the day (except when there is baseball practice, of course).

Availability
I work full-time from 12 pm to 8 pm from Monday to Friday in an Animal Urgent Care Hospital, which allows me free mornings and free weekends to dedicate to my furry friends.
