I have always loved animals, especially dogs. In fact, my aunt’s dog was the first reason I ever smiled as a baby! I have always surrounded myself with dogs and cats, and used to show Pointers.

As I plan to mostly offer dog walking services, I will always make sure to know each individual dog I walk and their temperament around other dogs, humans, and various surroundings/environments. I will always make sure the proper leash and collar/harness are used to ensure the dog walks comfortably. If at someone’s house, I will make sure the dog does not have access to anything dangerous such as foods that are dangerous to dogs or exposed electrical wires, etc. Safety is a top priority when I am taking care of someone’s fur baby!

It is important to know how your dog is around other dogs and kids. In addition, it is important to know how your dog is off leash.
A typical day
I love going to Moseley Woods, so I tend to bring the dog(s) I watch there at least once a day or go on long walks on the days we can't get over to Moseley. This provides the dogs an opportunity to get lots of energy out by playing with other dogs or just running along the trail. I also enjoy going to the beach with the dogs I watch and walking along the rail trail.

Availability
I currently work from home on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Fridays so will be available for short walks and visits during the day, and longer walks after 5pm those days. If I am housesitting, I have the ability to work from anywhere so can work while spending the day with your pet! I also am available on weekends for housesitting and walks, etc.
