Pet care experience
I am a first year Biochemistry PhD student at CSU, and I recently graduated from Cornell University where I studied Animal Science and Biochemistry. I have experience working with animals of all sorts- from dogs and cats, to cows and sheep!. I am an avid dog lover (but I also love cats) and have personal experience working with both large and small dogs. I worked in a lab at Cornell in which part of the job entailed caring for 96 sled dogs. I was responsible for playing with them/ caring for them with one other person twice a week! I am very active, attentive, and responsible, and plan on taking your furry friends on lots of walks, hikes, or runs! My family currently has four dogs- one beagle, two chocolate labs, and one bernedoodle- so I can handle anything! I have experience shadowing small animal veterinarians and am knowledgeable in the field of small animal medicine in case of emergency. I look forward to meeting your furry friends!

I tend to stay pretty attentive to what the animal wants. If your pet just wants to hang out, I can absolutely do that, but if he/she wants to stay super active, I am more than happy to tire them out!

Availability
I am currently a full time PhD student at CSU. Therefore, I am available early weekday mornings for walks (before 8am), evenings and weekends. However, during the weekdays I am at school and unavailable to help out. I look forward to meeting your furry friend!
