Pet care experience
I love both cats and dogs. Throughout the years, I have had several cats a well as a huge Saint Bernard/Lab mix. I also regularly care for my neighbor's standard poodle and have assisted in harnessing sled dogs in Alaska. I can handle anything from easygoing dogs to large energetic dogs to cats. I have experience in giving medication, both in liquid and capsule form, even to stubborn dogs who will not willingly consume pills. I have high attention to detail and will am willing to notify you or anyone you specify if anything seems off. There is virtually no limit to the services I can provide to your dog or cat, including wound care, special meal prep, accident cleanup, use or avoidance of specified routes, beach trips, fitness walking for overweight/out of shape dogs, running for high energy dogs, etc. No request is too small. Available just about anytime if you're local!

Alicia was prompt and professional for our meet and greet. She stuck around a while and one of my feral kitties, Shirley, came out to see who the friendly voice was and let Alicia pet her. Quite unusual to say the least. She was able to medicate Shirley who can be quite sneaky and avoidant. I would definitely use her again without reservation. Thanks again Alicia!

Alicia would be a great dog sitter on Rover.com. She is responsible, reliable, and really loves animals. I have accompanied her on dog walks, and noted that she is very attentive and compassionate about caring for animals, whether they are hers or someone else's. Having Navy experience, Alicia is very disciplined. I have had Alicia care for my pets, and so have my neighbors. Alicia has an excellent understanding of the meaning of customer service, and has an energetic, upbeat, positive attitude. Alicia really loves animals and the outdoors. This would be the perfect job for her.

I do not discriminate based on breed, training, age, or temperament, as long as your dog is willing to get out and walk with me, with or without coaxing.
A typical day
Weekdays: Coronado only please. At this time, I cannot guarantee access to weekday off-island transportation. I am willing to go to the park and/or the beach or avoid busier areas for more skittish and/or nonsocial dogs. FOR DROP-IN VISITS: I do not charge per pet in cases where there is no additional work involved. If you have more than one pet, please send me a request anyway and I will have it modified to be more reasonable. My multi-pet rate is $15 plus $5 for each pet that needs special attention (ex. walk or meds) beyond one.
