Dogmatic Experience!

Pet care experience

My name is Alicia and I’m 25 years old. I’m currently getting ready to study veterinary medicine because animals are my passion and I want to help as many as I can! I’ve been caring for dogs, cats and reptiles for about 8-9 years now. I know basic skills like the Heimlich maneuver for dogs who may have a problem with choking on their food and knowledge of administering medicine to pups who need it including asthma treatments and even diabetes medication . I have a ton of references and my schedule is some what open. I currently work at a veterinary hospital. Where my hours are Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. Your dog will be in great hands!

I could tell by the pictures that Missy felt right at home. Alicia kept me up to date with pictures and texts, which I really appreciated. She took excellent care of Missy!!!

Alicia did a great job watching our Frenchie over the long Labor Day weekend! She sent daily updates and photos and provided excellent communication. She also alerted me to a new food aggression our dog displayed and handled it smoothly. Definitely recommend!

Alicia was great with both of our pups! She was easy to get a hold of and communicated often.

Information Alicia V. would like to know about your pet

The most important information is like to know before I get a dog is Any aggression Bites Attacks Medication This will help me pick out dogs I can take and dogs I cannot. Medication isn’t a problem no matter what but it is something I’d like to know before hand. As far as aggression goes, previous bites or attacks those are dogs I cannot take unfortunately due to the safety of all other dogs I may bring into my home.

A typical day

Stimulation is key when wanting to get a dog tired. Letting them smell around, play with toys that stimulate their brain, dog parks and hiking. I live next to a nice 2 mile hike that I like to take my dogs on from time to time.
