Pet care experience
I am a work at home Mommy with a 2 year old daughter. We are home most of the week and some weekends. My Husband, Matt and I, love animals and have 2 dogs and an outdoor cat of our own. Our daughter, Annabelle, loves to be with our dogs and plays great! We have a completely pet friendly home on 5 acres, a large fenced backyard at the end of a paved neighborhood, and lots of room to walk! I have had pets for 15 years and have experience administering medicine and insulin to our late dog, Beau. Would love the opportunity to watch your pets during your vacations and work. They would be right at home with our family and be cared for with love!

Alicia was exactly what we hoped for! She is a very kind person and, clearly, knowledgeable and comfortable taking care of dogs. Our Labradoodle Scooby is spoiled and gets diced, grilled chicken added to his dry dog food; Alicia was happy to add the chicken we provided even though it would require some extra effort. We were so appreciative! The fenced-in back yard at her home is absolutely massive — a real dog’s paradise for romping around and safely exploring. Alicia even had a baby pool there so the dogs could cool off during the hot, July 4th holiday. Best of all, Alicia sent us pictures of Scooby everyday so we could see for ourselves he was having a good time. Alicia was flexible about drop-off and pick-up times. This was our first time hiring Alicia and only our second time using Rover. We feel very comfortable leaving Scooby at her house and will happily do so in the future!
Alicia took care of my dogs while we were away for the weekend. She is warm and generous and treated my dogs like a part of her family. She has the perfect backyard and house for dogs.

Alicia and her family did a great job. She took pictures of Layla and sent them to me every day and I knew that Layla was having a great time. Her daughter was great with Layla and they were so adorable together. She took Layla at the last minute on Easter weekend, and didn't even mind me picking Layla up in the evening on Easter--in fact she made me a plate of (delicious) food! While Scottsville isn't very close to my house, boarding with Alicia is definitely worth the drive. Layla gets very lonely at boarding sometimes, and knowing that she will be loved and with a family and not crated at night makes it possible to have fun and concentrate on other things while I'm away.
