I work from home Monday, Wednesdays and Fridays. I go in to the office on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 6:30am to 4pm. I work 15 minutes from my house and come home at lunchtime to take my dog out for a potty break. My yard is fenced in and a secure place for my dog and yours to play, but I only allow them to go out for short supervised outings. My Jackson is my heart. He has his own personality and is very independent, but he always makes sure to wake up next to me in the morning :) I rarely go on vacations so holidays are usually not a problem. So if your pup is use to being home for extended periods of time call me. When I get home I will take them for a walk and/or let them out in the yard. My Jackson just turned 5 and does very well with other dogs. He is not neutered so if your dog is in heat, it probably wouldn't be a good idea to leave them with me. I have owned dogs all my life. I feel lost without a dog in my home. I can read the body language of a dog from the moment I meet them. Everyday I learn something new about my furry friend. Why I love dog sitting... Dogs have a way of making your day so rewarding. They greet you at the door just like it was the first time they've seen you all day. I could be gone for 30 minutes - but when i get home I get the warmest greeting that you can't help but just laugh or smile. If you listen to them - they do speak. My experience administering medication I do not have a problem administering oral medication.
