We are a high energy home with 3 girls under 8 and one on the way - with a 2 yr old Lab Retriever mix who has a HUGE back yard and 3 girls all to himself - He needs a friend while his girls are at school, but mostly just to release some of his energy! He's a fetcher and we have a great little green belt just to the west of us along with a huge park located north of us - a bit of a walk but he gets his exercise in walking there and back after playing some fetch - great with kids. We prefer dogs who are also familiarized with children as well since we do have 2 littles under 2.
