Pet care experience
I have experience working with dogs of all shapes and sizes. I volunteered in animal shelters all through high school, and worked in wildlife animal care and rescue, as well as wildlife education for 2 years after college. I am comfortable with pets of ALL types (including birds, fish, reptiles, small mammals, and more). I worked as a veterinary assistant for 2 years and started teaching dog training last year.

I am not currently boarding at my residence but I am more than happy to pet sit for you. We can always discuss what you are looking for and what you need provided. I am very accommodating and have years of pet care experience so I am sure whatever you need I have done it before.

No breed preferences. Please communicate with me if there are special circumstances around caring for your pets. My current roommates cat was very nervous with new people but now he begs for me to hold him. I am good with getting animals to trust me and recognizing their body language/comfort level but if they are aggressive we need to speak about that in advance.
A typical day
I like walking in natural areas. If your dog is friendly and does well with other dogs, I can bring my dog, who is a bit shy but very sweet older black lab mix, on the walk as well (per request) for socialization. Let me know if your dog loves trails, certain parks, etc. which could be arranged.

I am currently working part time so I have a lot of availability. I love working with animals and live an active lifestyle so I have no problem taking your pups out for great walk!
