My cute Pomeranian had a great weekend with Alicia and her family. I especially appreciated that her two little dogs were very calm and welcoming to mine and they had a fun time together!

This is my first time using the service. Based on my experience here, I don’t think I would ever use it again. I needed some help because I was moving from one home to a downtown condominium and will be moving again in a couple of weeks. It has been hectic and stressful and many things have gone wrong and this is one more thing that ended up going wrong during this process. To begin with she took on the booking and could not take the third dog that she was attempting to accommodate. She said she could not have barking at her location. The location is not ideal for dog sitting to begin with. By the second day this woman complained to me stating, “Your dog is pooping all over my place. If they are not housebroken you need to be upfront about that. People will still take them. My carpets are getting ruined.” I was upset that she insinuated that I had lied. The statement also insinuated that I should look for services elsewhere. I stated that I would pick them up. She believed that I was being dramatic in my responses, however, she was offensive in how she approached me and at the end she said I was a “terrible person” because she did not like how I communicated. I wanted to avoid a face-to-face confrontation with her and asked her to leave the dogs at the front door. She is welcome to share exactly what I said on here if she wants to screenshot it. I do not mince words and I say exactly what I think. The utilization of money as a way to punish someone because you think they are a “terrible person” after you remark that the situation is not working for you, yet you have the discretion to charge what you wish, is what I have the biggest complaint with. I explained dogs know how to use a doggy door. She does not have this. It’s also an apartment so I don’t see how she is equipped to handle dog boarding generally. I paid her $50 in cash for the carpet cleaning and left a carpet cleaner when I pick the dogs up to relieve her of the burden. She said I was lucky that she only charged me $325 to cancel and she could have charged me $350. She also stated I was a terrible person. To which I replied that so was she. She was inauthentic and fake nice. At the end of the day the final bill was in the $600s for two nights, one day qualifying as a holiday stay even though there had been no holiday. She made it clear that the cancellation fee she chose to apply to me had nothing to do with the dogs having the issue of pooping on the carpet and more to do with the fact that she believes I am a “terrible person.” My friends believe that this is a scam artist mentality, where she complained about the dogs, I made accommodations to remediate the problem, and she accelerated the rate and she knew she would be paid considerably for a very short time. Again, she also was not in environment that conducive to dog sitting. At the end of the day, this experience made my moving experience incredibly more stressful, this was a bad personality match, and this was a bad match for the needs of the pets. I hope this woman uses the money she overcharged me to replace her allegedly ruined carpets.
