Traveling to Charleston for the weekend and can't find pet-friendly accommodations? Don't leave your baby back home -- keep him close by -- and not in a kennel where he can be overwhelmed by the other dogs and just won't get the attention he needs! Keep your baby close to you! After being the caretaker for a small, special needs pup for nine years, I understand how hard traveling can be when you have such a precious life in your hands! Let me put you at ease! All I want to do is make your precious pup comfortable and happy while you're out visiting the beautiful Holy City. My home is right here on Charleston's peninsula, so you can visit anytime – or I can bring your pup to you so he can join your adventures for an hour or so and explore the Battery or one of the parks with you! I will give your dog all the attention she wants/needs and will build my weekend around her! Whether she likes going on car rides, walking at the park, visiting the beach, sniffing around in my (private, fenced in) yard or just lounging around – we’ll do whatever she wants! I have experience grooming long-haired dogs and am sensitive to the special needs that senior dogs have when it comes to treatment and handling. Administering meds and cleaning up messes is no problem -- I'm used to it! The house does have two indoor/outdoor cats who are very accustomed to being around small dogs. They generally just ignore dogs, but may come sniff around just to say hello. Please note that -- although I generally accept dogs Friday afternoons through Sunday nights only -- I may be able to accommodate lengthier stays, so don't hesitate to ask!
