Pet care experience
Dogs have been a part of my entire life. I grew up with a GSD mix. On my 7th birthday, my family adopted a Jack Russel mix. In the 35 years since then, I've had 3 dogs & a cat as part of my family. Most recently, I adopted an 8y/o GSD w/Degenerative Myelopathy. I cared for his special needs by using dog shoes & a special harness to help him walk. I care for my family's & friends' dogs & cats when they need to be looked after. Additionally, I've volunteered & worked at the SPCA, as well as PetSmart. I also interned at the Philadelphia Zoo. Pets are family members & I will care for them as such. I'll brighten your pet's day when you're away!

Currently, I have no pets in my home. My GSD passed in Feb 2023. I live on ~2 acres of land, so if your dog spends time at my place they will have plenty of space to run around. There is no fence, but the perimeter of the property is surrounded by trees/brush. Additionally, I have a long lead that would allow your dog the feeling of running free, as well as provide you with the peace of mind that they won't get loose. We can go for 20-30 minute walks around the neighborhood or at one of two local parks or a nearby dog park.

Please let me know if your dog has any special behavioral or physical needs. Do they take meds? Do they not like a certain part of their body pet? Are they afraid of men or women? What are their favorite things?
A typical day
Making sure your dog has the right amount of physicial and mental stimulation is important to me. We'll spend time outdoors taking walks, running around, chasing balls, and playing with toys. I can also use sterilized food puzzles for a mental challenge. If your dog has special needs and isn't able to be as physically active as they used to be, slow walks & hanging out is just fine. I love giving pets and cuddles. I live near both West Goshen & East Goshen parks, so if you want your dog to have new and different sniffs we can walk there.

I work from home and have flexibility throughout the workday to check on your pet to provide food/water, walks, and of course PLAY TIME! I'm also available after work hours and weekends.
