Hey there! My name is Alicia and I am eager to work with your pets and you! I just recently moved back to Huntsville from Texas. Before I left I actually had my own personal dog sitting business At Your Bark and Call. I thought giving Rover a chance to expand my client base! Being a pet owner myself, (Rose- see profile) I know how hard it can be to part from your pets when traveling. I have plenty of experience with all sorts of animals, from dogs and cats to chickens and fish. Each animal, in my opinion, has their own personality and I like to cater to their needs while they’re in my care. I typically come for a meet and greet, but with the pandemic I am more flexible in the communication aspect. I just need to know their daily routine/medications/food portions/special needs. This can be discussed over the phone via FaceTime or whatever suits you! Everyone is skeptical of strangers at first but I have been known to attract even the shyest of dogs. Lots of positive interaction, play time and keeping them on their schedule is my way of breaking down those boundaries. I have worked with animals with medical problems, ranging from separation anxiety, elder care, diabetes, joint problems, incontinence and seizures. Working with animals has always been a passion, having dogs in my home since I was a baby. I have probably seen it all, but I am always up for a new challenge! If you choose me to care for your fur baby or babies, they will have my full priority. My boyfriend watches over our dog if I need to house sit (I have also been a maid so if need be, let me know and I can clean while you’re gone). If you choose me, I will adhere to anything you request. Walks, baths, and sometimes if there’s an adventurous pup..hiking! My gated apartment home has plenty of walking trails and even a dog park.
