Pet care experience
I can provide regular, 24/7 care for adult dogs (at least 1-year old). I also have experience caring for dogs that are shy or recovering from trauma such as abandonment or neglect. My own dog was neglected and abused before I adopted him, and being his mom has taught me how to be patient and to develop trust at a pace that is comfortable for the dog. I always do my best to make the animals in my care feel safe and to respect their boundaries.

Alicia took very good care of my high energy, somewhat timid dog. She knew I was a little concerned because my dog is 2yrs old and has never been separated from our other dog. Alicia communicated regularly and sent pics and a video. I was relieved and enjoyed my weekend away even more knowing my dog was doing fine. Highly recommend!

I have a fenced in yard and two adult dogs who would be more than happy to keep your pup company! During the day, I play soothing music so the dogs can relax and rest. After work, I do my best to provide some daily exercise by either going on a walk or to the dog park. I let the dogs out into the yard multiple times a day and first thing in the morning and right before bed.

Please let me know what time of day your dog eats and how much and how often they need potty breaks. Please also let me know if your dog is okay being around other dogs and cats. I have a cat and cannot board dogs with aggressive or other problematic behavior towards cats.
A typical day
I love to take the dogs out in the evenings, either on a walk around the neighborhood or to a nearby park that loops around a lake. I also take them to the dog park to let them run free if they behave well around other dogs. They can also run in my backyard if going out isn’t an option! When indoors, they have chew toys and rope toys to keep them occupied, and my husband and I love to play tug-of-war with them!

Availability
I work remotely full-time and can provide 24/7 care for any pets staying with me. I typically work from 8am to 4pm, so I try to keep the dogs comfortable and relaxed during the morning and early afternoon, then provide playtime and exercise in the evening. I can step away from the computer as needed, so if your dog has a strict eating or potty schedule, I can most likely accommodate!
